Company Settings

This is documentation about the page Företagsinställningar that you can reach by clicking your company name in the upper-left corner of the screen and then selecting Företagsinställningar from the dropdown.

In the company settings, you can view and change information about your company such as name, organization number, VAT registration number, and address.

Ditt företag (Your company)

Under the tab Ditt företag you can view and change information about your company such as name, organization number, VAT registration number, and address.

Bokföring (Bookkeeping)

Under the tab Bokföring you can view and change your bookkeeping settings.

Change accounting method (bokföringsmetod)

On this page you can switch between fakturametod and kontantmetod as bookkeeping method. Please note that it's important that these settings are in line with your actual bookkeeping method registered with Skatteverket. If you have configured Dooer to sync your tax account with Skatteverket (which we strongly recommend), these settings will be automatically updated.

Update your accounting method like so:

  1. Open the page Företagsinställningar > Bokföring.
  2. Click the link Redigera to the right of Bokföringsmetod.
  3. In the modal dialog that is presented, select the new bookkeeping method and from which date this should be active.
  4. Click Spara.

Whenever you do a new booking that falls within the time range of your updated setting, the system will book it according to your set bookkeeping method.

Change VAT period

On this page you can update your VAT period settings as well as if you you're registered for VAT or not. Please note that it's important that these settings are in line with your actual bookkeeping settings registered with Skatteverket. If you have configured Dooer to sync your tax account with Skatteverket (which we strongly recommend), these settings will be automatically updated.

Update your VAT period and settings like so:

  1. Open the page Företagsinställningar > Bokföring.
  2. Click the link Redigera to the right of Moms.
  3. In the modal dialog that is presented, update the settings regarding whether you're "momsregistrerad" (registered for VAT), what's your "momsperiod" (VAT period) (monthly, quarterly or yearly) and when to submit your VAT report.
  4. Click Spara.

Bankkonton (Bank accounts)

Under the tab Bankkonton you can view and add bank accounts (including your tax account at Skatteverket - something we strongly recommend).

Add bank account

Dooer supports syncing transactions from various banks (see below) as well as your tax account at Skatteverket. Syncing with Skatteverket also provides other benefits as it also fetches various details about your company so that you can be safe your Dooer settings are in sync with Skatteverket when it comes to settings such as:

  • Bookkeeping method (kontantmetoden / fakturametoden)
  • VAT periods
  • Fiscal years
  • Registered employer status

To sync with a new bank (or Skatteverket), do like this:

  1. Open the page Företagsinställningar > Bankkonton.
  2. Click the green button Lägg till.
  3. In the modal dialog, pick the bank you want to sync with (or "Skatteverket" to sync your tax account - or "Annat konto" if you want to add a "manual account" for a bank to which we do not offer an automatic integration).
  4. Click Gå vidare and follow the instructions for your bank / institution.

Note that if you already have bank accounts listed but they're marked with the status Synkas ej av inloggad användare then it means that they are added to the system but not yet associated with your personnummer and thus you cannot sync them.

If you do have access to these accounts, just follow the instructions above to add them "again" as bank accounts are personal so anyone who wants to sync them needs to add them with their personnummer (which the system will asked for after you've reached step #4 above.)

Inkommande e-post (Incoming e-mail)

Under the Inkommande e-post tab, you can view and change settings for incoming email.

You (or your vendors) can send documents to your Dooer account via email. Any email attachments that are of the formats PDF, JPEG or PNG can be opened in your Dooer account. To send documents via email, you must send them to a recipient address that is unique to your account (see below) and you must send from an approved sender address.

Send documents to your account via email

To add an approved sender address and see which unique recipient address to send to, do as follows:

  1. Open the page Företagsinställningar > Inkommande e-post.
  2. Here you can find the email addresses to which you can send your documents to. Please note that the different addresses are used to automatically sort your documents.
  3. In order to send attachments via email, the sender email needs to be added as an approved sender (Godkänd e-postadress). Click on the button Lägg till to add a new approved sender email.
  4. Enter the email address of the sender and select which user the email belongs to.
  5. Click Spara.

Please note:

  • You can add as many approved sender emails as you like.
  • You can remove an approved sender email at any time.
  • All attached files as well as the email itself will become a document.
  • If you use Gmail and want to add automatic forwarding of email invoices to your address in Dooer, you will require a verification code. This code is sent by Google to your Dooer email to verify that you are the owner of the target email address. To get this code, reach out to Dooer via the Meddelanden app.

Ombud (Tax filing representative)

Under the Ombud tab, you can view and add tax filing representatives to Skatteverket. If you have the right privilieges at Skatteverket, adding an "ombud" allows them to file tax returns on your behalf.

Fetch info about existing representatives

Fetch info about existing representatives from Skatteverket like so:

  1. Open the page Företagsinställningar > Ombud.
  2. Click the green button Synka.
  3. Follow the instructions to authenticate with BankID and your account will be updated with the representatives from Skatteverket.

Add new tax representative

A representative is a natural person who is authorized to handle matters on behalf of your company. This function, for example, allows your accountant at Dooer to submit your VAT return to the Swedish Tax Agency.

Add a new tax representative like so:

  1. Open the page Företagsinställningar > Ombud.
  2. Click the green button Lägg till.
  3. In the modal dialog, add the name and personnummer of the person you wish to add.
  4. Click Lägg till and follow the instructions.

Tjänster (Services)

Under the tab Tjänster , you can see the services you have with Dooer.

API-nycklar

Under the tab API-nycklar you can view and manage API keys for Dooer's public (read more about it here).

Add API key

Add a new API key like so:

  1. Open the page Företagsinställningar > API-nycklar.
  2. Click the green button Skapa API-nyckel.
  3. In the modal dialog, add the short description of the key you want to create.
  4. Click Skapa and follow the instructions.
  5. Copy the API key ("nyckel-ID" and "API-nyckel") and store it in a secure location.

Ta bort företag (Delete company)

When logged into the account (company) you want to remove, you can delete it by following the instructions below. Please note that when doing so all data in the account will be removed which is why we recommend that you export any bookkeeping data that you want to keep before closing the account.

  1. Open the page Företagsinställningar.
  2. Click the button Ta bort företag in the upper right corner.
  3. Follow the instructions.

FAQ

How to remove bank account?

It's not possible to remove a previously added bank account, but if the account is for an integration (i.e. not a manual account), then it's possible to disable the account so future syncs will not try to fetch data from this account.

To disable an account, do as follows:

  1. Open the page Företagsinställningar > Bankkonton.
  2. Click the green toggle to the very right of the account you want to disable.

What does "Synkas ej av inloggad användare" mean?

If you go to "Företagsinställningar" > "Bankkonton" and you see the string Synkas ej av inloggad användare on one or more of your bank accounts, it means that you, the logged in user, do not have your personnummer associated with these bank accounts and thus are not able to sync them.

If you do indeed have access to these accounts through your bank and want to be able to fetch transactions from them in Dooer, then all you need to do is add them again by clicking the green button Lägg till and follow the instructions.

When these accounts are now added again with your personnummer, then the string Synkas ej av inloggad användare goes away and you have the ability to sync your company accounts as well.

Can I change the email addresses of my Dooer account?

In your Dooer account, you have various email addresses to which you can send your documents so that they get properly sorted and added to your account (you can read more about this here). The name of these addresses (e.g. my-company-name@dooer.io) are automatically created upon signup. This also applies to the URL to your Dooer account on the web, which can be something like https://go.dooer.com/my-company-name/abc/.

It's currently not possible to change these names once created.
