This document contains critical information about which company types are supported by Dooer’s services, particularly for bookkeeping functionality.
Bookkeeping Services (Dooer Bokföring)
IMPORTANT: Dooer currently only supports Aktiebolag (limited companies) for bookkeeping services.
Supported Company Types
- ✅ Aktiebolag (Limited companies) - Organization numbers starting with 5 or 6
Unsupported Company Types
- ❌ Enskild firma (Sole proprietorship) - Organization numbers same as personal numbers
- ❌ Ideella föreningar (Non-profit associations) - Organization numbers starting with 8
- ❌ Stiftelser (Foundations) - Organization numbers starting with 8
- ❌ Handelsbolag (General partnerships) - Organization numbers starting with 9
- ❌ Kommanditbolag (Limited partnerships) - Organization numbers starting with 9
- ❌ Other business structures

Support Response Guidelines
When customers inquire about unsupported company types:
- Be clear and direct: Explain that Dooer only supports Aktiebolag
- Reference the FAQ: Direct them to the official documentation
- Don’t give false hope: Don’t suggest workarounds or future support

Organization Number Identification
- Aktiebolag: Start with 5 or 6 (supported)
- Ideella föreningar/Stiftelser: Start with 8 (NOT supported)
- Partnerships: Start with 9 (NOT supported)
- Personal/Enskild firma: Same as personal number (NOT supported)

As of the latest information from the help documentation:
“At the moment we only support aktiebolag. We get a lot of interest regarding support for additional company types, but at the moment there are no concrete plan for if or when such support will be added.”
