This is documentation about the page Register > Kunder that you can reach by logging in and clicking on Fakturering and Kunder in the left sidebar. It allows you to view and manage all customers you have added to the customer register (which is necessary for creating invoices and quotes).
Filter customers
Direct link: Register > Kunder
You can filter customers like so:
- By type
Open the dropdown Alla kundtyper (default value) in the upper left corner.
Search customers
Direct link: Register > Kunder
You can search among your customers through the Sök kunder field in the upper right corner.
Add customer
Direct link: Register > Kunder
You need to add customers that you will invoice or send a quote to in the customer register. You can add a customer to the customer register when you create an invoice or quote or by going into the customer register.
You can add a customer to the customer register like so:
From the customer register
To add a customer directly from the customer register, do like so:
- Go to the page Register > Kunder.
- Click on the button Lägg till ny kund and fill in the customer's details.
- Click on the button Spara.
From the invoice or quote editor
When in the invoice or quote editor, do like so:
- In the field Sök och välj kund in the upper left corner, open the dropdown and select the option Lägg till ny kund.
- Fill in the customer's details.
- Click on the button Spara.

These are the tabs, sections and fields in the modal when adding or updating a customer:
Tab: Kunduppgifter (Customer details)
Intial details:
Kundtyp (Customer type)
Indicates whether the customer is a company or a private customer for your business.Namn (Name)
Company name for companies and name of individuals.Org.Pers.nr (Org.Pers.nr)
The customer's organization number or personal identification number. Used primarily to more easily find the customer in the customer register.Vat Reg. No (Vat Reg. No)
The customer's VAT registration number is required if you are to invoice the customer with reverse charge.Land (Country)
The country where the customer is resident. The country you specify here affects how sales to the customer are reported in reports created in Dooer Sales, such as the sales report and periodic summary.
Kontaktpersoner (Contacts)
A contact is usually, but doesn't have to be, an individual at your customer. As a contact, you can also enter a department to which the invoice should be sent, such as an accounting department or invoice center. In these cases, it's enough to enter an email address; you don't have to enter the name of a person.
When the invoice is sent via email, it is sent to the contact's email address. The contact's name is also printed on the invoice.
You can have multiple contacts registered for the same customer. When you do, you select one of them as the primary contact. The primary contact is the contact that is automatically set when you create a new invoice for the customer. For each invoice you create, you can change the contact as needed.
Adresser (Addresses)
The address or addresses you add to the customer can be used as billing and/or delivery address. For addresses you've added, you can choose which one should be the primary billing and delivery address, respectively. A primary address is the address that is automatically set when you create a new invoice. For each invoice you create, you can change the billing and delivery address as needed.
Tab: Inställningar (Settings)
You can set that an individual customer should have settings that differ from those you have specified as defaults under billing settings. When you have set customized settings for a customer, they are used instead of the defaults for that customer.
Valuta (Currency)
Currency to be used on new invoices and quotes.Språk på fakturor (Invoice language)

Payment terms that indicate how many days there are between the invoice date and the invoice's due date.
FAQ
Can I email an invoice to an invoice center?
If your customer sets specific requirements that invoices sent via email should be in PDF format and sent to a special email address, you can set that email address as primary and additionally set that the customer in question should always receive PDF invoices.
How do I enter a Norwegian VAT number for a buyer?
Enter the Norwegian VAT registration number for your customer in the format 999999999MVA where 999999999 corresponds to the company's organization number.
